Dr. Jamie graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Notre Dame in 1997 and Summa Cum Laude from Emperor’s College Graduate School in 2000. In 2004 she started her practice, Oasis Healing Arts, and began treating patients with acupuncture, nutritional supplements, and massage therapy (Dr. Jamie is a master massage therapist). Later that year she earned her yoga certification to expand her repertoire and to help her patients learn how to move and breathe in such a way that would both calm their minds and strengthen their bodies. In 2011 Dr. Jamie published her first book, “Restore the Flow” – a lifelong dream come true. In 2013 she began her training in Functional Medicine and in February of 2014 she earned her Ph.D. in Natural Health Sciences. Dr. Jamie’s research focused on stress physiology and specifically explored the effect of scripture-based mindfulness meditation on perceived stress levels and stress-related physical symptoms of working mothers.

Dr. Jamie is a genuine healer and lifelong scholar. Her ongoing academic and professional achievements and the positive health outcomes of thousands of her patients are a continual testament to her passionate dedication to natural medicine and the healing arts. With 11 years of expertise in holistic healthcare, Dr. Jen Nam, Ph.D., stands as a beacon of knowledge in Oriental Medicine. Her journey began with a profound familial connection to healing, tracing back to her great-grandfather, a respected acupuncturist and healer in South Korea.

Dr. Nam’s academic pursuits led her to attain a Master’s degree in Acupuncture from the Colorado Chinese Medicine University and a second Master’s degree in Oriental Medicine from South Baylo University in Los Angeles, where she excelled in clinical internships and leadership roles. Her academic journey culminated in a Ph.D. in Oriental Medicine from American Liberty University, where she received accolades for her research and dedication to advancing the field.

Dr. Nam specializes in stress-related diseases and spine and disc conditions, renowned for her meticulous analysis of each patient’s condition, her customized herbal decoctions, and her nutritional expertise. Her holistic philosophy emphasizes the profound connection between nature and human physiology, empowering individuals to take control of their health journey. Throughout her career she has collaborated closely with chiropractors and decompression specialists at the Spinatomy/Spine and Disc Center; and contributed to creating and administering treatment protocols at California Mobile Acupuncture for the treatment of a diverse range of conditions including Parkinson’s, kidney infections, facial nerve disorders, infertility, and post-stroke paralysis. Dr. Nam is now the lead spinal disorder and fertility specialist at Oasis Healing Arts, helping patients achieve their health and wellness goals through acupuncture and customized herbal medicine.
